Paradigm introduces portable handheld biodiesel analyzer

ispecWisconsin company Paradigm Sensors LLC introduced a new portable biodiesel handheld sensor called the i-Spec Q-100. The small analyzer was introduced at the 2008 National Biodiesel Conference & Expo is a portable tester that can be used to quickly test the consistency and reliability of biodiesel fuel. The analyser measures the total amount of glycerin, the acid number and blend percentage as well as methanol in biodiesel.

Pricey.

Someone found out the cost was ~$5k and the unit needed cartidges for each test performed ($20 and $25 for the cartidges).  Posted at Biodieselnow.com.
